Thank you for using just answer.

How many miles on the car?

Does it overheat all the time or does this only happen when at idle?

Did you properly bleed the system using the top bleeder?

i have not seen the top bleeder...where is it...tom

Accepted Answer

Where the top radiator hose connects as the thermostat housing, there is a 17mm bolt there, this is where you fill and bleed the system.

Did you use a factory thermostat here or an aftermarket one?

aftermarket but when it is working....see top message

Answer

if the system is bled then the aftermarket thermostat can likely be a cause also, install an OEM one and be sure that the drilled breather tab is facing the 12:00 position.
