Question

I have an Amana refrigerator model TC20nl. Water leaks from a grate above the meat saver drawer. There is no water in the tray at the bottom of the unit. How can I stop this leak? Thank you.

the unit is actually leaking from the freezer into the refrigerator. This is a common issue and happens because the defrost drain hole freezes over and doesn't drain and instead overflows causing it to drip through the vents into the refrigerator shelves. To correct the issue, you will need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the back panel. Use a hair dryer to thaw all the ice out and use compressed air to blow the drain hole out so that it's clear again.
