Hi there
I am guessing that this is a 1997 F150 ,,,if so ,,, then there are two fuses for the radio on is located in the interior fuse box ,,fuse 8
and there is one in the engine compartment fuse box ,,fuse 6
here is a wireing pic of the radio and its two conectors ,,if the help out
any more info on this ,,just ask , we can go back and forth on this page
Thanks,,Chris
Its the same info ,,, for the Expedtion ,,, the F150 shares the same wireing as your truck ,,,so the info I gave you is good ..
I would access the radio wires and make sure you have your two powers and your one ground ,,,, if you have this ,,then the problem is in the radio
Chris
I do not know if you looked at any of the info I gave you or not but take a look at the pic below again
on the pic above there are two fuses to the radio ,,,fuse 6 and fuse 8 ,,,power from these fuses go to the radio on the black /pink wire and the light green/ purple wire ,,,, so with the truck on ,,,both these wire should have power on them ,,use a test lamp or a volt meter to check this ,,,,,if they both have power then the next thing to check is the ground wire and they are the black wire ,,,and the black / light green wire ,,, they should both have continuity to ground ,,,,, if all this checks out ok,,,, then your problem is in the jumper harness you got or the new radio you got ,,,,
