First of all, she cannot do anything from Mexico. She would have to file a petition to establish paternity in the states. Most state courts would require a DNA test or other paternity test to make sure the child is yours before granting you parental rights or ordering you to pay child support.

She cannot simply have you jailed on her word, especially as she is apparently not a U.S. citizen. If she is serious, she will file a petition to establish paternity. Otherwise, you can provide for the child as you see fit and do not have to listen to her empty threats.
