Can you please clarify "about". Does this mean somewhere between 6.5 and 7.5 deg BTDC or does it mean "most Honda generators" have this timing or "most small engines" or timing varies slightly cycle by cycle? Thanks

Accepted Answer

There is no published timing degrees. I put a degree wheel on a flywheel and it was about 7 degrees.

There really is no timing a honda engine. Bolt the coil on and let it rip.
