Question

Monday a.m. my female St.Poodle had a croupy cough. Just bred her a week ago.Went to the vet who gave her cough tabs and Amoxicillin,100mg bid. After two days still not doing well. Have trouble breathing. Changed to Doxycycline 100mg bid. She threw it up that pm and next am. Thurs. having more trouble breathing, took her in to vet, she spent the day there. They gave her sub Q fluids and Cerenia for nausea and sent Cerenia home to give 1x day for 4 days(Thurs) That night shortly after I gave her the Doxy, she started breathing hard again. I noticed her stomach was puffed up. Called vet. She had me quit the doxy, give her gas-x and tums and return to amoxi. Friday didn't need cough tabs. Lungs have been clear all along. Stomach is worse, bigger. She is uncomfortable, no stools for several days, ate well all days except Thurs. repeated gasx& tums. Forgot cerenia today, should I give it to her. What can I do? Should I give Amoxi? Help! JeanXXXXX XXXXXXXon
