Hi I own a proton persona Kreg LOVE IT but it now requires Mcpherson near and far sides spare, and muffler is leaks pls advise thanks Gladys

Hello and Welcome to justanswer...


There should be no problem at all getting the Mcpherson struts that your Proton needs...

Have him contact the local Motor Trade Factors - they will be able to order them in even if they havn't got stock...as they always deal with all different suppliers for these parts....

They don't have to be sourced from a Proton dealer - but if there was some problem - they would be able to supply you too..

Would you have an idea on the cost of the Mcpherson strut please? Hope it will not be more than the car is worth Thank you for your prompt response on where the mechanic can get the part

I'm afraid I don't know prices off hand - and I daren't really guess - because I wouldn't want to get it wrong and mislead...

Too - prices vary so much as there are so many different ones / types / makes and suppliers..

One good company that you may like to have a look at - and contact - either via the site or use the local phone number on the site is <HERE> Click the blue link to take you there...

I would make enquries with them as well as locally - as above... as you may find better prices there too..
