Question

I am taking Yaz birth control. Last week I accidentally took two pills in one day. I took another pill again the next kept taking them. There wasn't any day that I didn't take a pill but one day I took two. I usually dont get my period until the second day of my white pills but today is my third white pill and I haven't gotten my period. tomorrow is my last pill and then Saturday I'll start a new pack. Should I be worried that I haven't gotten my period yet?

Accepted Answer

Hello,

If you have not missed any pills other than taking 2 on one day your risk would be very low. To be safe however, take a home pregnancy test if that is negative than you can start you new pack just as you normally would.

If you don't have a period the next month then I would see your provider.
