The dcf.wisconsin.gov website says that parents do not have to pay child support on children placed outside the home if it will cause hardship such as having to move from their home or filing bankruptcy. If this is the case how do you get the support order dropped?

Answer

Thanks for your question. You would file motion tomodify here with court that ordered suport. You have to convince the judge that paying supprot will cause such financial hardship. The court here can lower if not entirely waive support if you have good facts to argue and present. You can hand draft this yourself and sign it and file it.Do a cover letter askign the court to set it for hearing.Copy the other side here.
