Accepted Answer

Hi,

It can go on indefinitely unless the parties have come to an agreement, or if they cannot, then they must ask the judge to make a final determination on the case. If the other party keeps seeking continuances, then the party asking for the final divorce decree to be entered should object to the continuance and ask the judge to enter his/her ruling.
