Answer

there is usually a button on the activation screen that will allow you to contact microsoft.

what version of windows is it ?

microsoft does have tdd numbers for hearing impaired

i am not sure this would be the correct one but it is microsoft tdd and they might be able to give you the correct number

(TT or TDD) number at (XXX) XXX-XXXX

You need to contact Toshiba at 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX on my behalf and get the product number from them I meant to say earlier. I do NOT own a TDD type phone nor do I use TDD. My communications is done either in person or by E-mail and I can't call so I'm stuck. I have 9 days left before my activation expires. All I need is the darn product number and why can't you please call Toshiba and/or Microsoft for me and just use my name. You have my permission! You have all the information about my computer I sent to you previously. Thanks! Bob Biggs

Accepted Answer

actually i dont. the site automatically blocks identifiable numbers like your product id code for your own protection. even the phone number for toshiba you supplied came out as xxxxx i am a paid consultant working from my own office and have very little ability to change that probably zero ability to change that. i wish i could call for you i understand your problem. can you go back to the store you bought it from and show them that it is illegible ? there should be some sort of waranty
