does y0ur answer mean that corp. or llc etc are not subject yo levy? only personal accounts?

Accepted Answer

No. A business account may be levied as well if there is a judgment against the business entity. The key issue is the identity of the judgment debtor. If it is a corporation or LLC, shareholders and members are generally shielded from personal liability for judgments against the company. That means that if you have a judgment against XYZ, Inc, you may not seek to satisfy the judgment from the personal assets of an XYZ, Inc. shareholder.
