Question

I have a Lenovo y510 IdeaPad. Purchased it last Sept.2008 so of course I'm a month over warranty. My keypad has become possessed. Type one letter I get 2 letters, like mn, use the space bar and it skips to next line and a host of a lot of other problems. I'm on my desktop right now. The guy who use to do my computer work said that a lenovo keypad can only be bought at one place and that I have to send it there and the cost is $175.oo Are they kidding? What kind of monopoly do they have. I am really wishing now that I never purchased a Lenovo. Do you have any thoughts on this that could save me some money. Thanks,denise
