my chimney pipe had some damage from weather so i want remove it. can i replace old pipe that is grey on the outside with some sort of fire proofing material on the inside looks like concrete, with a new chimney pipe? I have found a few new pipes that look like they would work but i keep getting asked what brand name is my old pipe and i can't find any info on that type of old chimney pipe. any ideas would be great.

the pipe comes from my wood fire place and is on the outside on the roof it is 72 inchs long each piece measures 12inch 24inch and 36inch and the are the type that interlocks.

It sounds like you are talking about Metalbestos flue pipe. It's not made any longer. You will need to replace the entire chimney. You can use any all fuel vent pipe. Most manufacturers use a triple wall stainless steel pipe.

so if the bottom pipe that is on the roof is still in good shape is there a pipe that would be able to match up to this type of old piping. do you think that dura tech ss would work?

There is no pipe that will match up to your existing pipe you will need to put in all new pipe.
