Question

I just purchased a Seagate 500GB FreeAgent Desk external drive. Question - I have backed up my main laptop but I use a small Acer when I travel and I would like to now load the info from the FreeAgent to the Acer. Can I do that and if so HOW? Thanks, XXXX XXXXX

Tried to restore from the FreeAgent to my Acer with no luck.

If you back up the entire machine thatcreates a restore for the machine being backed up. Unfortunately that will not work to put that onto any other machine then the one that is being backed up.
