Question

The "male" seat belt connector is broken on my Dodge 2006 Caravan, middle seat, driver's side. The metal connector is cracked off. The previous owner jammed the buckle (I know not how) and in his wisdom decided to snap the male connector, apparently using a Vise grip or Channel lock, and some other device (possibly a hammer) to break the connection. Question is; Can I buy a replacement male connector as an individual product or do I have to buy an entire new seat belt apparatus. Web sites I have reviewed lead me to believe that the entire belt assembly needs replaced. Is this so or can I simply purchase a new male connector?

Hello! Welcome to justanswer!

Im sorry but just the male connector cannot be bought sepreately as the belt is sewn together after the male part is installed. You would need the whole belt assembly from Dodge.
