Question

What high blood pressure will not cause hair loss? I take Cozaar and have lost so much hair that I can hardly cover my scalp. I have primary Sjogrens Syndrome and cannot take a med that is drying. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Greetings and welcome to justanswer,

 

The drug cozaar contains the losartan and may cause alopecia as the side effect on long term use.

 

You may try the other antihypertensive drug like amlodipine, nifidipine, atenolol which do not have any known side effect of alopecia causing hair loss.
