Question
I own a cooperative apartment in Harlem in New York City. I am going to have to let the apartment go into foreclosure. I am living in North Carolina and still collecting unemployment benefits from New York. If I go into foreclosure can my unemployment benefits be taken by Citimortgage or the Board of the cooperative building. This is the money I am living on, and I have benefits till June of 2010-thanks
