You should have no problem using the devices you suggested and, if anyone tries to raise a stink, tell them you are requesting an accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. If someone wants to be a big fat jerk about it, still, do not hestitate to contact the civil rights division of the U.S. Department of Justice and let them do the heavy lifting for you.
