hi,
did you type the product key exactly which is found on the box?
(it must be on an orange sticker)
Yes exactly as written and several times. I have even un-installed the new sofware, re-installed and tried again - nada.
The only thought I had as that as there was a trial version of Office Outlook 2007 already on the computer and this software is Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager - might the two be conflicting? Thought of un-installing the Office Outlook 2007 but there doesn't seem to be a seperate listing for this within the "Add/Remove Programs" function.
I really am at a loss.
hi again,
yes, this is correct.
can you tell me the exact 25 digit product key you are trying to enter?
by the way, are you using Windows XP?
did you go to control panel / add remove programs, and look for the MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 TRIAL program?
Hi - yup product key is
WPTRT-FKHPG-D3K8P-6BCM3-8YV4T

thank you,
i was able to validate the key. there is no problem with the key.
do you currently have the trial version installed on your computer?

ok,
can you please insert your office 2007 cd you got from amazon,

in fact you don't need to do it because it can install over your current program files (overwrites)
please try to install without uninstalling. please let me know how it goes.
did you try to install on another computer?
(on a computer which has no previous office programs)
no I haven't got one to do that with.
Is there a way of stripping out the Office Outlook 2007 completely and then re-installing this version?
