Question

Is there a way to increase the default number of folders listed in the "Move to" dropdown menu when you click the "Move to" button on an open e mail in outlook. Otherwise if one clicks "Öther Folder" it takes about 10 more clicks to file the message.

Hi,

Other people have investigated this, and there is not a way to increase that beyond ten. It is not programmed into outlook.

Here is a suggestion from an author on books about microsoft outlook...

You cannot change number of shown foldlers beyond 10.

Note that manually moving around items is a very time consuming
and reactive way of sorting your email.

Consider using a combination of
rules, categories, views and Search Folders instead.

Also note that you can
simply use Drag & Drop to move an item instead of using a menu bar.

You know the answer now, and maybe a few suggestions.... I do the same thing that you do in outlook, try dragging and dropping...

Cheers

Carl
