ok to make the story short , iam an airline pilot , before 2 years my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, after i knew about it i was shocked and could not sleep thinking about her and what will happened to her , due to lack of sleep and having to stay with her in the hospital for 2weeks , i went to a doctor and told her that i cant sleep thinking of my little doughtier opertion, she told me its normal u just have anxiety , she gave me a medication "buspar" and 2weeks vacation. in order for me to have the 2 weeks vaction i had to see another doctor working in the airline medical center . he told me to continue on busbar and he gave me seroxat for depression and told me to see him after one month. i came back to him i told him i was fine release me to the line so i can fly again he told me i have to monitor you without med for another month come back and see me after one month .for six month i had to see him for only 15 min just asking me how i feel without med and my answer was i feel good , normal . after that i recive a letter from FAA MED telling me i have to surrender my FAA med licence since it will be suspended due to my doctor report to them , that i suffer from psychotic disorder,bipolar disorder, and chronic schizo-effective disorder ( depressive type ). can u belive that he wrote a report to faa full of this mental illness with out even telling what i have and i was the last one to know about it , not to mention that no test or any medication he told me to do or to use for what he wrote to FAA . i went back to him and when i told him that i will sue him by saudi law , he got scared and told me dont worry i will write another report to FAA med telling them you are fit to fly again . he wrote the new report and i made an appeal , and FAA refused to listen to him and his new report and i got a denial, with the option to request a review BY NTSB . i have 5 doctors reports saying iam notsick.u think i can get my faa med certificate back ,

I HAVE MENTIONED SAUDI LAW TO LET YOU WHERE THE PROBLEM START. I WILL HAVE TO COME TO OKLAHOMA TO REQUEST REVIEW BY THE NTSB SAFETY BOARD. i have to present documentary evidence and oral testimony by medical specialists AND evidence in the hearing that i do meet the requirement of 14 CFR PART 67 . i want to SHOW NTSB safety board ,that i was only diagnosed by anxiety because od my daughter issue. i want to tell them that the doctor who made the report to suspend my licence . did not make any test on me or even talked to me for more than 5 min when i go to him every month telling him iam ok. the doctor did not even tell me that he think that i have bipolar disorder , and chronic schizo effective disorder depressive type . not to mention that he only added SEROXAT which is a medicine for depression then he told me to take zyprexa and i refused to take it since i dont know what is for and why should i take it . i have seen more than 5 doctors just to make sure if i really have bipolar disorder , and chronic schizo effective disorder depressive type and they all said no i.dont have that and they even told me that it will take me a long time treatment for just bipolar disorder, and there is no way a doctor who who thinks that u have all this mental illness will say you are ok untill he makes sure and do all tests, which they think it will take 1 year to 2 year just to say he has no depression . and u might have to live all your life with bipolar disorder , and chronic schizo effective disorder. when i showed them the doctor who said all of that and wrote a report to fAA TELIING THEM TO SUSPEND MY MED LICENCE , he is also same doctor who sent a report after 6 month to faa telling them now he is ok to fly and he is clear of any mental illness they were shocked. all doctors said no way a person diagnosed with all this mental disorders can be cured in six month and some time it wil take the doctor 2 month to know what kind of medicine he should use with me after many times of 1 to1 communication,to know exactly what i suffer from . finally when asked that doctor to give me a copy of medical file , he refused to give me any copy, saying anything faa wants you to send to them i can send it to them by e.mail . so i have stolen my medical file all of it :) which i represnt to NTSB SAFETY BOARD . TO LET THEM SEE BY THEM SELF WHERE DOES IT SAY I WENT TO HIM SUFFERING from bipolar disorder or what ever he said . why he did not mention in his report the cause why i could not sleep good due to my daughter illness,why he did not mention i came to him after i saw another doctor who said i have only anxiety since i was under stress for one month ? why he did tell me what he thinks iam suffring from , why he did not give me any medication for schizo disorder. how can he say in 6 month period i am fit to fly again. based on what, he said iam sick and based on what he said i am ok . the only reason for that is he wants to cover his first mistake and make me happy so i dont sue him here in saudi. in saudi arabia the doctor must tell the sick person what he has . this doctor screwed my future basically , i lost my job,since i cant have first class faa medical certificate . to tell you the truth i dont blame FAA to deny giving me back my licence even after the same doctor said iam ok , since any doctor knows this just could not happen unless there is a miracle . but faa they dont know the full story thats why they gave me an option for court and NTSB hearing. iam ready with all documents they need and iam ready to take any tests or any mental tests they want me to take to see them self i dont have all this crap , in any hospital or clinic they want . iam just waiting for my US visa to be issued .and i will fly to them asap , if u can help me with , i can come to your office before i go to faa show everything i have take your advise what more things should i do before the hearing date to convince NTSB that iam a victim of unqualified doctor . i dont care in which state your office is i can come to you or u can send me to another lawyer u recommend in Oklahoma city . if faa gave me back my med license after all documents i have presented to them and after all test they want me to take , fine with me i will not sue this doctor here in Saudi and forgive him , if they dont i will sue him badly here . i will not be happy tell i see him out of saudi arabia since he is an Egyptian and i have all powerto do this in saudi arabia with my connections. if medical results in the state showed i might have have bipolar disorder , and chronic schizo effective disorder depressive type then i will be happy that i found out about it and i will start medication with a reliable good doctor. if u can help with my case and need more info or any documents to be sent to you i will do that . all you have to tell me is your consultation charge .and i can call you by phone to discuss everything capt : manhal salem almadani p.o box 122145 jeddah 21332 saudi arabia tel: 00966555687689

Assuming this doctor is in the United States, you my have grounds to sue him here. If he's in the US, suing him in Saudi Arabia probably wouldn't do any good unless he has assets in Saudi Arabia, as a Saudi Arabian court probably couldn't exercise jurisdiction over him and, even if it can, it has no control over his assets. In other words, even if you obtain a judgment against him, the foreign court can't make him pay. If he's in the US and the problem took place in the US, you're probably going to want to sue in the US.

The good news is that you can file suit against the doctor and you may be able to recover a substantial sum. Possible recover could also include lost wages (which may be quite substantial).

As far as your main concern, your license, there's no way to force the agencies to return your license to you. Rather, you will need to make a good case to the agency that your license never should have been suspended in the first place and that the doctor was incompetent or, alternatively, that you are fully recovered and that your license should then be restored. You can retain an attorney who deals heavily in aviation law to assist you in this matter.
