Info Request

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

For how long are you having these problems?

What brings this tingle feeling? For how long does persist?

Where exactly is this tingling felt?

Any relation to exertion/ activity/emotions/ etc?

When was your last cardio check up?

Any neck issues/ past injury/ etc?

Any tests/ investigations?

Any other medical issues/ significant history?

Thanks. Shall be waiting for your reply.

I first started noticing them a cople weeks ago
I can't detect what brings them on
The tingling is below the nipple, though once it was to the outside of the nipple
Usually I am involved in very low exertion things like walking around, go to the fridge, but sometime sitting down
Cardio check up a year ago
no other investigations recently on this
Med issues: I have gout, I have a referred pain from C7 coming down my right arm to my small finger, Doc cannot figure it out.

Accepted Answer

Thanks for all the additional details. Having gone through your descriptions, I think that we might be dealing with a neurological problem out here in the form of tingling sensation (like a low grade electrical buzz), which is located below your nipple and once outside of the nipple.

A pinched nerve / nerve irritation could be a cause out here and I am sure that once you check in with your doctor, a scan/ MRI would be advised for the cervico-thoracic spine to know the exact cause.

I am sure that your doctor would also be checking you up for any heart problem and EKG/ ECG and a few other tests could help rule out any heart problem.

Having said that, it would be best if your son could check in with his doctor for this and discuss these possibilities and get himself examined thoroughly, and a CT / MRI would be needed, so that a diagnosis can be established and appropriate management can be instituted.

I hope that it helps. Best wishes. Kindly feel free to enquire if you have any remaining concerns or doubts and it would be my privilege to try helping you as much as I can.
