Dear hardhead,
Greetings and welcome to justanswer,
What is the depth and size of wound?
did you have any vomitting, loss of consciousness, seizures, headache?
are you immunised for tetanus?
Dear hard,
Thank you for the information,
Since you had the tetanus injection so it is not required in your case. The internal brain injury and bleeding may occur which may cause such symptoms of headache, seizures, vomitting, etc.
The absence of these symptoms suggest that the serious brain injury is unlikley.
You may apply the antibiotic ointments over the wound area to prevent seconadry infection and put the cotton roll bandage. If the bleeding is not there then you may consult the doctor tomorrow morning. If the wound is deeper then a stich or two may be needed to fasten the wound healing.
You may consult the doctor for the prescriptions antibiotics tomorrow morning and meanwhile take the motrin for the control of pain and inflammation. The ct scan is rarely required in your case.
Let me know if you have any doubt.
Thank you!
