I have IGD (Immuno Globulin Deficiency) and I was wondering, if I wear my mask, am I ok to be in public (like going to church), or is it better to stay away.

Hi there ,

Welcome to Just answer !

Well, i can understand your wish to attend public meetings like other people , but , i would say your health comes first , and since you have Immunoglobulin deficiency , which compromises your immunity to fight infections and makes you more vulnerable and easy prey to even milder forms of infections , so putting your healh as a priority , i would suggest that you avoid going to crowded places as much as possible , unless it is inevitable and most required to attend such a gathering in a public place , and always carry your mask to avoid getting any sort of allergy and infection along the way , and the mask should be a multi-layered good quality mask , which you can get from a pharmacy near you .

So, avoid crowded publc places as much as possible ( you may attend church when it is least crowded but have a mask on your face for precautionary measures ) , but always carry a good quality multilayered mask while going to a public place .

Besides , taking such a precaution , you should keep good hygeine and regularly getting your blood work up to detect any infections present ,and keeping adequate nourishment by taking proper enriched diet as a balanced nourished diet would only help to keep the infections at bay , by strengthening the immunity .

I hope this helps..

I wish you all the best..
