Accepted Answer

the victims lawyer can ask for any documents they wish in a civil suit, a financial affidavit is usual practice, to see what assets you may have, you do not have to complete it as it is, if your lawyer objects to it through the court. The court could then limit the disclosure to only issues pertinent to the case.
