ALL WE HAVE IS THE DRIVERS DISK?

Posted by Santonu 129 days ago.

Info Request

Driver Disc is for reinstalling device drivers.

If you do not have any important data in the system, you can try to use inbuilt recovery option using the following steps:

Turn on the system and press F11

If the system features an inbuilt recovery partition, then it will start the recovery manager.

Info Request

No it is the CMOS setup utility.

I think the inbuilt recovery option is either not present or not working. The next option will be to use a recovery disc to restore the system.

Can you tell me the version of install Windows. Like Windows XP Home/ Professional etc ?

WINDOWS XP PRO

Answer

There is an option to order recovery disc for your system using the following link

https://warp2.external.hp.com/driver/dr_country_select.asp?Product=431032-001&lang=en&cc=us

Ater getting the disc, you need to start the computer from the recovery disc and restore the system to factory defaults.
