My sister passed away and I got her HP laserjet 4000TN but no installation disk. Tried downloading a driver from the web but I'm not having any success making things work. Not sure if I downloaded the right driver or what the problem is.

There should be a label on there with a model #?

More likely on the back of the device.

The more information the better.

I want to make sure you get the right driver.

Couldn't find a label. I printed out the configuration page It listed PCL, PCLXL, and PS and all were 19980714 Under memory It also listed a PCL DWS and that was 5.99 Firmware datacode was 11980714 M83.68
