I totalled my car and the insurance company is trying to work me over the estimated value on my vehicle is about $17,000 and they are only offering me about $11,300. do i have a case?

Answer

You have a right to get an independent appraisal and present it to the insurance company. If you are not satisfied with what your insurance company is willing to pay, you can sue for the additional money.

do i have a good chance of winnig a case against an insurance company or is it to petty to follow thru with?

Honestly, you'd probably spend more than the difference between appraisals.
