Hi and thank you for your question. I am sorry you are not feeling well. Some viruses can present with a low body temperature. Are you coughing? DO you have pain anywhere?

Hi Doctor,

I am overweight. my pulse rate is 80.I. in last three months i gained 8 lbs .I am facing from last two weeks onwards i am getting slight blood in my salavia. i went to my family doctor and he suggested cbc count, chest xray and endoscopy. I am some what nervous about that.. I dont have symptons like coughing, cold and weight lose. in last three weeks this is the second time i am getting low fever.I am 30 years old. Is there any chance of getting me tb or cancer. I am concerned on it.please advice me as ur friend

Your Pulse rate is normal ,...the normal range is 60- 100. SOme things that cause low body temperature include thyroid problems.. hypothyroid can cause also weight gain, which you are experiencing. Is the blood in your saliva just streaked with a tindge of blood, or is it outright blood? When you blow your nose does it come out in yur nasal mucus as well?

The blood could be coming from your gums, or from a respiratory infection or irritation in your nose or mouth. It may also be due to dryness ( Causing irritation), Bronchiectasis , or a Vitamin K deficiency. Do you smoke?

No, I do not think you have cancer. The symptoms of cancer of the lung include shortness of breath, weight loss, hoarse voice, fatique and chest pain among others.SInce your temperature is low and you have some blood in your saliva I would have to recommend you see your Dr so he can check you for a respiratory virus.
