Pain in ear, sense of fullness and occlusion. Rasping throat with dry cough. Phlegm coming down back of throat. Pain at back of ear in neck at earlobe level - painful when pressed. Right nostril continually running.

Hello,
You could have an impacted sinus. A CT scan would be helpful to diagnosis this.

You could also try a Nettie pot that helps to "clean out" your sinuses.

Have already had CT scan of sinuses and tried washing out sinuses with Netti pot. Do you think there might be a middle ear problem as I have bouts of dizziness too. I really am at the end of my tether with the whole thing and it wears me down.

With those symptoms it really seems to be sinus related. The dizziness can come from fluid in your inner ear. Nausea also. I would be concerned because it seems to be right sided.

I would certainly be seeing an ENT and trying some steriods to help dry things up.

Bless your heart I would be worn out too!
