You should, but the employer's insurer with inevitably hire a physician that will rate you low, trying to minimize what they would have to pay out based on state law.

You really should have an attorney represent you, so that you can get a plaintiff's physician to rate you, which is always higher in my experience. The amount paid out is often somewhere between the two ratings.

The state bar association can provide you with attorney referrals.
