Question

I need a copy of a customer service manual for a Sony cordless telephone (SPP-S9001) I own.. I am trying to change the numbers in my current speed dial feature, but since it has been a while, I forgot how to do it. Can you help me with this? Tom p.s. A copy of the service manual might come in handy for future problems I might run into.

I've tried something called "RETREVO" and thought my quest was finished. A copy of the manual I wanted (SPP-S9001), supposedly unloaded in pdf. However, when I tried to open up the downloaded file, I didn't see anything. And that's why I'm going through this dialog with you. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi John, When I clicked on "HERE", this what I got: NAME: 2009-11-05_121623_document.pdf TYPE: Sony Cordless Telephone Manual (SPP-S9001), 86... FROM: ww2.JustAnswer.com When I clicked on "OPEN," a very similar screen as the above opened up and asked me if I wanted to open the file. Clicking on "OPEN" again repeated the above info. Pushing on the "SAVE" button left a msg. that I was saving the same information. Am I missing a program that opens pdf files? If so, what might that program be? I'm frustrated. The manual (I'm guessing) might already be on my PC. The real problem is that I can't access it. Tom

John, You have solved my problem. I just finished copying 14 pages of the Sony manual which I will need to make changes to my cordless phone programming. Thanks for sticking with me. I figured there might be a programming error on my PC, but I had no idea what to look for. I probably would never have thought to look for an out-of-date Adobe reader program.
