Question

Hi, our dog got into our garden yesterday where snail pellets were laid the previous day. We are not certain if he consumed any and so far there haven't been any symptoms. He's eating ok, toileting fine and his mood is the same. Are there always symptoms of snail pellet poisoning or can some of the symptoms be silent?

Hi XXXXXXXX,

Generally snail bait takes effect with symptoms within a few hours so it is possible that he did not eat any, which would be great.

You can read about symptoms here. It a pop up shows up over the article just hit "close windows" at the bottom to get to the article.
