Hi,
According to Iomegas website:-
"Drivers are not required to be downloaded. All necessary drivers are included in Windows XP. This means that your drive will be detected as a DVD-ROM drive unless DVD/CD burning software is installed. If supported by Windows XP, you may be able to burn CD's using the Windows XP built-in burning software." https://iomega-na-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/iomega_na_en.cfg/php/end user/std_adp.php?p_faqid=16742&p_created=1107911251&p_sid=UfKUL8Mj&p_accessibility=&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0xMiwxMiZwX3Byb2RzPTUsMjEmcF9jYXRzPTUwJnBfcHY9Mi4yMSZwX2N2PTEuNTAmcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9ubCZwX3NjZl85PTE3MiZwX3BhZ2U9MQ**&p_li=&p_topview=1
So having said that can you tell us what sort of issues you are having with the drive and what errors you are getting?
Thanks
Eric
Ok,
By the sounds of things iTunes is not registered correctly as your Audio CD burning program.
To try to fix this can you click Start then open control panel and open the Add/RemovePrograms application then look in the list for iTunes and single click it to select it then choose change/uninstall and click on repair and let it run.
Once it has repaired can you reboot then let me know if it will allow you to burn a CD or not.
ThanksEric
