What does it take to replace a Crankcase Shaft Pulley from a 1999 Mazda, 626, 2.0 Ltr. Engine w/AC ?

Already Tried:
I tried to lower the engine, but only 1 inch from the right splash guard. I noticed it has a big nut like a bolt holding the pulley.

HI,

 

That bolt is regular righthand thread, so turn it counterclockwise to loosen it. It is on a 122ft lbs, plus if its been on there for a few years it has corrosion buildup as well which will make the effective torque at over 200ft lbs.

 

You need to soak the bolt with PB Blast(100x more effective than WD40) and allow to soak for an hour. Use a strap wrench(shown below) to keep crankshaft from turning, and use a long breaker bar and socket to break the bolt loose:
