Call dss and cp.Took him to the hospital.they confirmed abuse.

Accepted Answer

I am surprised the hospital who confirmed the abuse did not make the call to child protective services, since the hospital is considered to be a mandatory reporter. If DSS is not taking this seriously, then with the information you got from the hospital, I would suggest you press charges with your local law enforcement. They will question the hospital for evidence and law enforcement can then make sure that DSS takes this seriously or at least give the other parent the evidence needed to file for an emergency custody hearing where they take the child until the custody issue is formally addressed at court.
