Question

A week ago this past Sunday I woke up not feeling well - slight fever, body aches, headache. By Monday/Tuesday, fever, bidy aches gone but lost my voice, had sore throat, no fever, slight head congestion. This past weekend voice starts returning, cough starts, sore throat gone, slight head congestion. Still have cough and slight head congestion, no fever. Should I be seeing the Dr. at this point or contine to treat the symptoms?

Advile when needed, cough expectorant, but have not taken full dosage or with any regularity.

HI and thank you for your question. By your symptoms it sounds like the worst is over, thankfully. You may be experiencing the end of a virus. The cough often persists for a couple of weeks and the congestion for a few days. If you continue to improve you should remain on your current regimen, if you seem to get sicker or develop a fever, please see your Physician.
