There are a couple of ways to do this. The first solution that I would try is using regedit to change a key in the registry to allow you to uninstall without the password. You can do this by:

 

1. Press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard (at the same time)
2. This will open the Run dialog box.
3. Type: regedit and press enter
4. This should open the Registry Edit app. Which may look confusing at first but think of it as a phone book / directory listing
5. Double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (It will expand out.)
6. Double-click: SOFTWARE (It too will also expand)
7. Double-click: TREND MICRO
8. Double-click: PC-cillinNTCorp
9. Click: Misc
10. Now on the right hand side (middle white section) you should see a list of values
11. Find the one that says "Allow Uninstall"
12. Double-click it change the value from 0 to 1 and click OK.
13. This should allow you to uninstall without a password.

Please follow the instruction clearly to remove Trend Micro. When it asks you to restart your PC, do so. Then we should be able to get you to download and reinstall the software and set a new password. This time I would recommend writing the password down and tape it to the side of the computer tower or something similar.
