Question

I have a question about something that has me concerned and has for a while now. I've been scared to go see a doctor because I'm afraid he'll tell me bad news. I have a lump in my stomach, where my belly button is. You can only feel it when I lay flat on my back. I noticed it about six, seven or eight months ago, but have never said anything. About two months ago my husband and I were laying down watching a movie and he placed his hand on my stomach and he noticed it. It feels about the size of a small canolope and sometimes it gets very hard and I feel bloated sometimes too.It doesn't hurt at all. When I lay on my siide for a long time and then turn over onto my back, the lump will be over to the side that was lowest to the bed. I t does not bother me just the fact that it is there bothers me. I'm the type of person that does not go to the doctor very often. Even if I get sick I treat myself with over the counter meds. I have to be really very sick for me to go see a doctor.
