I was charged in 2003 with a home invasion 3rd, a Domestic violence, and a Aggravated assault. I took a plea that told me once I got through the Probation (12 Months), the charges would not show up as a conviction, they would be there but not as a conviction, Now in 2009, I got my 2nd DUI after they ran the lean on me those three charges are coming back as a conviction. what do i do? i don't remeber the Lawyers name that dealt with this.

Good morning,

I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma.

You will be able to find everything you need by going to the court where that criminal case was negotiated and getting a copy of the file. The file will also have the name of your old attorney in it as well as proof that your sentence was a defered sentence.

I wish you the best.

Thank you very much for having allowed me to assist you. It would be greatly appreciated if you would click the green Accept icon so that I can receive credit for having assisted you.

Best regards,

Doug
