my father died. I am executrix. what do i have to put in the local newspapers concerning this?

Answer

You have to file a notice to creditors regarding his death and the opening of his estate. The newspapers are familiar with these types of ads and in most cases can and will help you with the wording. Also, many times the clerk of court can assist you with what needs to be included in the ad if the newspaper cannot help you.
