if i had sex on the 18th of october and took the morning after pill the same day and thought my period was late anyway is it most likely i was pregnant before as the morning after pill is quite effective . The firt day of my last period was around the middle of september although i had slight bleeding towards the end of the month but wouldnt call this a proper period. i also had sex on the 3rd of october so is it true you are most fertile after your period would you say it more likely i should go from the 3rd instead of the 18th .

Yes you could have been pregnant already if your period was late. Plus, once pregnant - the morning after pill actually might enhance a current pregnancy - because it is a progestin and hence PROgestational.

also i had a digital preganancy test which said i concieved 1 to 2 weeks which would make me 3 to 4 weeks pregnant does this make it more likely to mean i concieved on the 3rd sorry quite confusing.

Most likely this is the case - but since you are unsure about your dates then a 1st trimester vaginal ultrasound would absolutely clarify the dates of conception and also give you a good due date.
