Question

We had a flooded basement. We got the top dry but we had a laminate with foam on the floor. Can we save the floor. We took some up and it smells musty. What can we do?

Your only chance to save the laminate is to place it somewhere to air dry. Not in sunlight as that could cause warping. A slower process is needed. If the foam backer was applied to the floor and was not factory backer on the laminate itself you will just have to remove and discard all of this. Your biggest problem for reusing the laminate planks will be the tongue and groove joints. Some will have become swollen and getting them to go back together could be a problem.
