Hi and thank you for your question. This is a big step for you and one I believe will bring you great results! The healthiest type of diet for you while taking xenical will be a low fat, balanced diet. It is that the total amount of fat in each meal should be no more than 15g. Reading labels and obtaining a fat counter book will help you to determine which foods you should or shouldn’t eat. Below are three links that will help you with this new diet plan.
The first link I am giving you has sample menus that are low in fat:

This one is a link to the Xenical website there you can imput your information and obtain some guidance for your meal plan:

and this is a link to an online fat gram counter:

I hope this information helps you , if so, please click accept. Thank you and I wish you the best!
I have already consulted my Doctor and he prescribed Xenical 120 mg hard capsules taken together with a low fat and carbohydrate diet.My original question was how should I change my diet as told by my Doctor. Your answer helped somewhat but not completely. I can not go out shopping to read labels on food as I have Arthritis and osteoarthritis also oedema. I was always a very active person and my weight was always 8stone 4 lbs but is now over 12 stone. Because I am virtually housebound and can not get any exercise I have piled on this weight but to try to walk increases the pain....therefore it seems I am in between 'a rock and a hard place!'
I am really getting very depressed trying to find an answer to my problem.
