Question

When I turn my computer on, it can't find the wireless router, I have to turn off the computer and then unplug the router then plug it back in, wait a couple of minutes and then turn my computer back on and it works. I have two computers an iMac and a Dell and it is the sane with both. Can you tell me why this is happening? Also ever since I put in the router my e-mail will not work.

Accepted Answer

Update the firmware on the router. Sounds like an internal router problem. Go to the manufacturers website, the support section, enter your model number and download the firmware. Then log into the router (Follow the user manual) to upload the firmware onto the router. Once this is done, you may experiance better reliablity.
