Hi and thank you for your question. A headache that is brought on by coughing, sneezing, or laughing is usually an exertional headache which can be caused by an increase in the blood pressure in the head. This type of headache usually begins suddenly and lasts for a few minutes or less. The pain with this type of headache is usually described as sharp or stabbing. This type of headache could also indicate TMJ Syndrome which affects the jaw joint. Have you mentioned these headaches to your Physician? WHile they are probably nothing to be worried about, he may want to do some tests to rule out anything serious. I hope this information helps you, if so, please click accept. Thank you and I wish you the best!
