Question
I am looking to buy a used boat with a 1994 90 hp johnson on it. The seller said he had a leakdown test done with good results. What do I need to look for in compression results or anything else from the test that would raise a flag for trouble. also any ohter suggestion appreciated

That is a very good reliable engine. The leakdown test is actually much better then any compression test. IF the results of that are good, then a compression test is a waste of time. I would also inspect the gearcase fluid. Also be sure and run the engine in the water to be sure it is running correct.
