i think i had the flue last week however my housemate went to his gp on friday and they said it was swine flu or a stray or something i feel fine now but i still have a cough should i go to work ?

i dont anymore just a cough, i feel better and so does he just a cough should i go to work or will i spread it

Hello,

If you are free of fever for more than 24 hours without taking any medicines for it, then you can go to work.

However, if you are still on the Paracetamol, then the normal temperature would be from the medicine and you can still be infective, in this case, it would be advisable to stay away from work until the cough goes away too.

I would advise you to get yourself tested to look for the H1N1 virus, that would confirm if you are infective and are carrying the virus.
