He has had this behavior ever since he was old enough to run around. It seems more
like he's playing, but too too rough! He doesn't show signs of aggression when this
is happening.. such as ears flattened,or growling or hissing...just wants to jump and
bite, then run.
Yet' at 4 A.M HE'LL GET UNDER THE CHIN..TURN HIS PURR ON AND LICK
MY NECK...FOR AS LONG AS 3-4 MIN...SEEMINGLY VERY LOVING......BUT
THE ARMS HAVE TO BE COVERED AS HE WILL TAKE A BITE, THEN JUMP AWAY.
iF HIS MOTHER WAS A FERAL CAT, WOULD THIS HAVE ANY EFFECT IN ONLY
4 DAYS?
tHANKS FOR ANY HELP.

You have given me new insight as to "Bandit's" behavior. I will certainly follow your
advise....and I see him in a different light now.
Being an ex-vet tech, I knew that if he didn't make a change, euthansia would
eventually happen. I can see that the two legged folks need to make some
changes too. I've never had an aggressive cat towards people and I need to
accept him as totally different.
When he was 2 wks old, I had him checked at the vet and he growled and hissed
at the attendant just peeking into the carrier !!!!!!
He's unique for sure, but well worth coping and waiting for him to hopefully
mellow.
Thanks again for your advice.
